You have to fight and defeat big names to become a superstar. You have to headline big ppv's to become a superstar. Right now the only superstars in boxing are Canelo, GGG, and Anthony Joshua in the UK. Nobody outside of hardcore boxing fans even know who the other boxing champions even are.

Mayweather wasn't a superstar until he fought DelaHoya and was propelled to superstardom. Who's going to be Mikey's DelaHoya? Lomanchenko? Nobody even knows who Lomanchenko is. Nobody knows who Linares is. He got past a faded Broner, that wasn't so spectacular. If he would've knocked Broner the **** out that would've been noteworthy, but he didn't. Maybe he can get Conor Mcgregor in the ring... Conor Mcgregor has had one pro boxing match in his life and he's probably the biggest name most famous boxer in the world.

unfortunately its true. he will keep fighting weak opponents and winning like floyd did and they will crown him. keep taking on the best? hmmm when did that happen? lipinets the best now? seems like hes going the media misinformation route like floyd. just simply pretend to fight the best is much better than doing it.

Garcia is not even close. It takes either a dynamic personality or looks or both to top off high level skills and Garcia has some nice skills but he is one ugly dude and as nice as he is, has the dynamic personality of a wet rag!

How cute. Mikey wants to become "the FACE of boxing". With Amir Khan being inactive, we have a new "ppv star" to laugh at.

Mikey needs to quit this B/S. This fight is ****.

As for being a star, he is in the boxing world and will continue to be so, but he will never be a star in PPV unless he faces a big PPV star already.

I personally think perhaps if he does somehow be a PPV star, Mayweather could fight him at 147.

Aren't you the same that crowned Lomachenko p4p#1 & drool over his way overrated resume for a 29 yr old? The same one thats nowhere near as good as Mikey's, whos already a guaranteed 1st ballot hofer? Lomachenko was a 135 lb equavalent fighter in olympics yet as a pro hes fought nothing but midgets & bums coming off horrible losses at lower weights.

You always run away after I use facts to negate your usual biased bs, despite you often replying to my posts 1st
