[and fury isnt' the lineal champion any longer, he was suspended for doping and should be stripped by any decent ratings ystems that calculates lineage. hasn't had a fight since 2015 but for some reason the fact that he and brother popped for a big boy PED was swept under the rug. the guy basically retired concurrently with a ban ]
Ah misunderstood you though were talking about boxing achievements.

Yeah any legit title would jave stripped Fury by now. But Lineal doeast always equal legit. He beat the man and hasnt lost since in the ring, so that makes him lineal to me, even if he isnt thr legit champion (probably vacant)

the man retired. he's not the lineal champion. and he won it on a score of drugs . he's lineal to you because he speaks to your turnpike roots.

Fighting for sport, or honor, or under any set of rules will always look strange to others because nobody considers how much a successful participant has to adjust to win a contest. Case in point: The ease with which a hand can be broken, the instinct to grab and hit the opponent at close range, etc.

You are seeing two individuals who know a set of rules very well, which looks strange considering what we think we are looking at... two individuals trying to brain each other... These guys are fighting to earn the respect of each other more than employing a strategy to take the other guy out with a hard punch...Notice how the guy getting facially disfigured seems to relish the process, marks showing his toughness!

Also notice how the hairy guy sets out. he is trying to cut and inflict damage systematically with his jab, he hardly ever even employs his power hand except as a threat. The strategy is similar to how many knife fighters fight... slowly bleed the other guy, until he cannot fight.

I made these comments because the idea that one could walk in and show superiority with boxing skills is false. In fact there are documentaries about others coming down and fighting in these contests...its not so easy. most people would have a problem with the punishment. One Martial artist who fought a bare knuckles champ, went a while, after being trained by a good Wing Chun fighting man actually... but the bare knuckle champion could fall down and get up more than the martial arts guy lol!

So it may look strange but its done a certain way for a reason and its not so easy to go in there and take the gold ring away lol. And...Fury was trained traditionally as well, even though the contests are different, boxing training has enough consistency that Fury was trained in boxing skills, this is a documented fact.

The best part of Saunders career is when he called out GGG from his caravan. If you're familiar with these Gypsy videos calling out other families for a fight all over youtube for some fight in a field, well Saunders video was EXACTLY like that but was trying to make it for all the world championship belts at Middleweight. Pretty hilarious when you think about it considering it was serious.

                Haha i love that one.

Also, he's 34? looks way older.

Come to think of it, loads of them look very old for their age. I think Saunders is one of the only gypsies i've seen that looks about right for their age. Maybe it's just the Irish travellers that look old though.
