Marquez came up from 135 where he weighed 133 for just two fights and 130 before that. In 2007 Floyd was fighting at 154 and Marquez had his first fight above 126.
Floyd was out of Boxing for 17 months before signing the fight.
Your a casual. What big fights have you attended? How often do you go and pay to see live fights? Stop throwing shade at others and claiming people aren't boxing fans when your just a fanboy based on race.Comment

He fought one fight at 154 at the time & it was time for Marquez to move up. He was drinking to much pee to make weight....lol...I've been to Cotto/Judah, I pay for all my PPV's, I've watched boxing since the 80's, I've been in that ring. You the casual that just started at 2003, never laced them up, & always talkin ish on the winning team. Stop trying to hide behind that avatar, you don't even like Bud!Comment

WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs) considers his May 5th opponent, WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto (37-2, 30KOs), as being undefeated. Mayweather doesn't count Cotto's two career defeats, a TKO in eleven to Antonio Margarito in 2008 and a TKO in twelve to Manny Pacquiao in 2009.
"You have a guy Miguel Cotto. He has two losses, but one of his losses is to a guy at a catch-weight, where he wasn't 100%. And you have another loss to a guy who was caught cheating in the sport. I'm looking ahead that I'm facing a guy who's undefeated," Mayweather said.
"He faced Antonio Margarito, a guy who everybody said I was scared of, and he got caught cheating. Now you got Manny Pacquiao, a guy who fought Miguel Cotto at a catch-weight. So you have one guy who cheating and one guy who fought at a catch-weight. I wanted to fight Miguel Cotto at 154 because I wanted to fight the best Miguel Cotto."
You ****ing liar. So your a liar and a racist and make lies and agendas based on racist views. I just proved you WRONG AGAIN.
Another "W' for me
Don't duck this and explain your lies. I am intrigued to see what you say about this. I'm predicting another excuses just as I predicted an easy win for Loma where you predicted an easy win for Rigo and I correctly predicted you'd cry, front and discredit the fight beyond reason. I won that one too.Comment

Again, when I read “blatant ducking,” I’m turned off regardless to who it applies to. As a grown up, you should know that boxing is a business. Few fighters “duck.” That’s just silly fanboy talk.
If you really think Floyd Mayweather will do business with Bob Arum, I don’t know what to tell you. Forget all the social media posturing, etc. Posturing is all it is. The fight isn’t happening for that reason alone. And for the record, I think Loma washes him.
Every interview Davis has when lomas name is mentioned his whole demeanour changes. It’s very obvious they want nothing to do with him at all. Mayweather did business with arum when he fought pac, that’s just an excuse.Comment

Floyd should take advantage of Lomachenko's request. I know that Floyd feels Davis is too green for Loma, but he's young (like Canelo) and has time to come back from a loss. However, Loma is desperate for an opponent @ 130! He's not calling out the belt-holders @ 130, because he knows they're on HBO. So from a business standpoint, Floyd should see how bad Loma wants this fight! IMO, Tevin Farmer is a better fight (and way cheaper) for Tank at this point, but if Arum wants to make it worth it, **** it! I would love to be a fly on the wall of a Mayweather/Arum negotiation, especially after how Arum slammed the McGregor fight! PRICELESS!Comment
