Why should Wilder fight Whyte????? Whyte is terrible and has beat NO ONE! He lost to a shot Chisora. Hearn knew that fight was never realistic. He got EXPOSED as a LIAR by Wilder and Shelly Finkel on the boxing voice of all places😂😂

This is Hearn putting on another substandard card and lowering the standard of British boxing in the process just to line his own pockets. The man’s a scumbag. He’s a habitual liar who’s full of BS. He’s a c*nt. **** him. He’s ruining boxing in this country
Hearn is ruining boxing in this country?? Are you seriously mad or something??

Without Eddie, the sport would be in the doldrums. To not even recognize that is just straight bull****.

          Casual????

I've been a fan of the sport for over 25 years.

If Hearn does something wrong i'd be happy to point it out. If he does right, i'll point that out as well. But no one can deny the good Hearn has done for British boxing.

They can, allow me to educate you.
A couple of years ago we had 4 promoters on sky. Frank Warren the lead promoter, Matchroom(Hearn), Hatton Promotions and Frank Maloney. This meant we consistently got: unbiased coverage, competitive matchups, cards that had strength in depth and you could attend these shows for a reasonable price and a lot of people there were genuine boxing fans, now we get Olympians fighting bums, any semi-decent fight is on PPV, a load of Matchroom yes men, supporting whatever false narrative Hearn wants them to spin and fans have to pay through their nose just to get a nosebleed seat off stub hub.
Is that good for British boxing and more importantly boxing fans?? Is it ****.
Hearn doesn’t care about this sport, the first fight he ever promoted was Haye-Harrison on PPV, I think that says it all about his moral principles regarding boxing, he’s continuously robbed British boxing fans for years now.
Look at his most recent card for example, imagine the **** De La Hoya would get if he put Vergi Ortiz 6-0 and Serhii Bohachuk 4-0 as the main event of a HBO boxing card, cause Hearns just done the equivalent of that with Okollie vs Chamberlain, but apparently that standard of boxing is good for British boxing.
I can tell you have very little understanding of the UK boxing market, but go and ask REAL boxing men who know this business inside out like Steve Goodwin, Dennis Hobson, Barry McGuigan, Steve Wood, Andy Ayling etc what they think of Hearn.
He’s a silver spoon fed, lying, money grabbing scumbag, who lucked in to his position at Sky, and found away to exploit the casual fan base. He’s an a**hole and anyone who supports him is as well.

Dangerous fight this early for Okolie, he's huge for 200 lbs and has a ton of talent, but a lot of flaws right now and is very open to be hit. Could be a big set back for him and Hearn

"Causal's" are good for the sport. If boxing only appealed to boxing die hards there would be a seriously depleted fan base, thus less events, less money and overall less interest.

Just because 'Casual's' don't know all that much does not make them valid boxing fans... fans that the sport actually needs.

But not just for pride, however, Okolie has put it on Chamberlain so it's time to fight.
I really like both boxers so i'm hoping for a clear decision on this one and no controversy.
They both could've stayed unbeaten for a while so big props to them for risking their '0's
It's the like's of the IBF/WBO Euro, Intercontinental, International baubles that's buggering boxing. I agree it may have been best to wait for British, EBU & Commonwealth title's but not minor alphabet trinkets!

Wow too soon, too ******** soon. Great for us the fans but it is too soon for either boxer to gain money wise from it.
