You're the one taking it as a dig on Golovkin. It wasn't. After that fight, I gave him much respect for the way he boxed against Lemieux. But when I re-watched the fight and saw how basic Lemieux was I thought he was too cautious. This is about how bad Lemieux is not anything negative about Golovkin. I understand you're here to save him from meanies like me saying bad things about your favorite fighter.

I don't like that usual reference to Chris Byrd, he was a middleweight in amateur (then turned heavyweight after only 3 pros bouts) so that's logical he boxed that way against real and big elite heavyweights, and doesn't go toe-to-toe with them

And I'm not a fan at all of Billy Joe BS.. Hope Daniel Jacobs will fight him next and KO him

To be honest, what Byrd did was pretty amazing. Like U said, going from middle to heavy, plus he was pretty dominant on his way up due to his fast jab and defensive skills. He even stopped hard headed Jimmy Thunder.

Only thing is, that reference is warranted. His fights were boring, he had little power, and ran a lot, otherwise the reference wouldn't be used as much as it has.

......and somebody is going to have to be really good at cutting off the ring on BJS to beat him, cause he runs all night. Not sure if Jacobs is that dude.
