Jones was going to have to come down in weight and get a 50/50 split with a fighter he had already beaten by a considerable margin???
    Give me a break.
Roy laid out what needed to happen in order for the fight to be made.
    Hopkins never stepped up.

It'd be a shame if anyone took Gunstar seriously. His history lessons are pretty awful.

That's why ya put him on ignore, kiddies. His propaganda is worse than Eichmann's.

Hops hit and attacked and tried to bully Roy enough in the 1st fight for the fan with half a brain to realize that the chances of him KOing Roy were little to none.

Wrong, he barely beat him, I don't where you get the considerable margin. Both men would've fought at a catch weight of 168.

Jones beat a green Hopkins who nobody knew anything about, Hopkins never had a long amateur career like most fighters did, he was green as hell. He was not the same fighter.

Jones didn't want the fight, it should've been 50/50. Hopkins just beat the undefeated Tito & Jones was beating his normal C level fighters and was asking for 60/40 kick my ass.

It just amazes me how people forget that Roy went well a couple of years without loosing a round.

In the rematch, he got KTFO..

He knows the same thing would happen if he fought Hopkins again...

Jones ran like a little ***** in the 3rd fight...

Lol, stick to your amateur fighting, maybe you will become as good as Donald Hoskins one day. You kept me on ignore, because I always make a fool out of you kid.

Roy won double the rounds Hopkins did.
Hopkins was a green fighter with more fights then roy
And his amatuer career was alot longer then people think.
                  Like I said.
Hopkins didnt want the fight, he knew he wasnt going to get 50/50 to get a REMATCH with a fighter he already lost too.

That's what happens when a younger fighter with power takes advantage of your age and physical degeneration. It changes your mentality.

When Jones did throw hands though, he was better than Tarver.

50/50 for a fighter who has been beat convincingly for a rematch? Un heard of. Plus if Im not mistaken that would have been Hopkins biggest payday ever! So it was all on Hopkins to take that fight.
