Comments Thread For: Ex-Trainer: With Me, Rigo May Have Shocked Lomachenko!

Earlier this month, WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux took a huge risk when he moved up in weight, by two full divisions, to challenge WBO super featherweight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko. Before a sold-out crowd at The Theater in Madison Square Garden, Rigondeaux was dominated for six rounds and refused to continue any further.

So, what do y'all think he's referring to when he says he saw some things, and heard some things, about Rigo's training camp, but won't say because he wants to be professional? Post your theories or what you've read or whatever the case is!

Rigo b1tch got schooled like a fourth grader by the master. Loma only lost 2 fights in his entire boxing career out of over 410 fights, in which one loss he avenged and second is in the mail soon as soon as salido grows some
balls. this old trainer of his is just blowing
        smoke.

Actually what can you expect from a trainer (Pedro Diaz is his name, right?) who said that Donaire was bigger challenge than Lomachenko?

And during the fight he said to Rigo something like that: "Come on, you gotta do something!". What a great and specific advice, lol.

exactly, its one thing to knock someone out in a shot. But to break someone down over rounds to where there mind is completely broken is another thing. So called cuban school.

Broken Record Whiner iNixus. Yeah bubba, obviously Loma turned in a better performance, Rigo lost. You may be surprised to know that in the vast majority of fights, there's a winner AND a loser. SMDH

The main thing would've been to realize there is a weight class between Rigo's normal weight class and Loma's regular weight class.

                  Duh???

Should've picked THAT weight class and both fighters fight at THAT weight. But, really, way too many obstacles for Rigo to overcome to expect a win. Inactivity, weight, injury, age...
