Comments Thread For: Saunders Victory Makes For Three-Headed Middleweight Monster

By Corey Erdman - Defining Billy Joe Saunders can be a tricky proposition. In the ring, he's neither a thrilling brawler nor a dreadful spoiler. He's neither a flashy showman nor a stoic operator. Outside of the ring, he can be quiet, reserved, and rudely brash all in a matter of moments...

Glad he's focused again, good to see. But, let's be real, he's not even the 3rd best in the division. I may even put him behind Jacobs, at 6th. Don't see BJS surviving w/ Canelo, GG, Charlo, or Andrade. He never even came close to dropping these guys that GG absolutely obliterated.

Very impressive win. He was bouncing like Ali, employing some Roy Jones moves and whipping punches in like Calzaghe. And a solid chin too. The only thing he lacks is the power of the top guys.

I doubt Goldenboy want Canelo in with BJS, the WBO mandatory brown envelope thing is a convenient tool to get GGG's capitulating promoter to agree favorable terms for the rematch.

So AJ stopping Klitch was a better performance than Fury's masterclass, right?

BJS put on a stellar performance on Saturday night with all the odds against him. Yet we still get negative comments."Why?". Okay the WBO title may be the youngest (and their belt the tackiest)of the so-called big four sanctioning bodies, but still has some relativity. BJS Vs Jacobs @ MSG in the Spring makes most financial sense next!

Absolutely. But, Fury put on no master, or class. He landed like 8 punches a round. A "master" would have been able to land some punches on a guy who was barely throwing back.

I give AJ respect for beating a Vlad who had the "wake up call" and was ready to engage. Still no where near a prime Wlad, but a better version that what Fury fought, mentally at least.

I say that as someone who has watched Fury since his 1st Chisora fight and thinks AJ is overrated. It's ok to say Fury is better, he may be. But that Wlad argument is a swing and a miss.

BJS gets bodied by either GGG or Canelo.

                Jacobs beats his ass too.
