Saunders would have fought him, he signed the contract but understandable why GGG didn't in the end with the Canelo fight on the horizon.

Saunders isn't a ducker. Even at domestic level, he fought stiff competition coming through. Of course they're not great fighters in general but in the context of domestic level when making your way up, he took real fights. He was never spoonfed bums like most fighters.
He's admitted to ducking and avoiding ggg in numerous interviews. Now when ggg was about to make the canelo fight happen he called him out and gave him a deadline. LMAO. Now ggg was supposed to drop the biggest payday of his life for the guy he was chasing for years. LMA0.

GGG has been hyped beyond belief. He finally fights two top-level middleweights his last two fights and nearly loses to both of them. Saunders could very well beat him.

There was a time when Saunders did make clear he wouldn't fight GGG. That was way back when GGG was a 40/1 favorite to beat Saunders (according to the early betting action).

Right now in the early betting action GGG is a 4/1 favorite. My, how times have changed.

Anyway... Saunders has a solid resume but Lemieux wasn't some huge win. And he's looked inexplicably mediocre against worse opposition. So the reaction to his good performance in this fight is too extreme, but then so is the reaction to most wide victories on this site.

Saunders admitted he wasn't in the best shape and condition to take on GGG, but he's improved leaps and bounds since then and ready to fight. Not ducking, just being smart.

ggg in turn cannot be ducking when he was in negotiations and got the canelo fight.
                Are you kidding me?

Saunders signed the contract, Loeffler got very quiet and GGG started talking badly about Saunders.

Then Golovkin FAKED an injury so he could get out of the fight with Saunders. Didn't wanna risk his payday against Canelo you say? A duck is a duck.

Golovkin ducked Saunders, not vice versa. Get your facts right.

The biggest duck in boxing history is Canelo handing over his WBC belt to GGG after promising to fight him twice after step-aside agreements and again, in the ring, in front of his own fans, after calling GGG up from the audience.

GGG and BJS are even on ducks.

BJS ducked GGG in 2015 because he was waiting for him to reach 35 yo. (See the video I embedded)

Then GGG ducked BJS this year because Oscar told him the Canelo fight would be taken off the table if he tried to fight BJS first.

GGG a coward who ducked BJS to fight Canelo. Yup, makes total sense.
