Stance - BJS is southpaw and 2 of Nelo's most competitive fights were against southpaws (Lara and Trout) and some saw those fights with Nelo losing them.
Weight - this fight at 160, FMJ fought Nelo at 152.
    Height - BJS 5'11" while FMJ 5'8" , Nelo 5'9"
    Reach - BJS 73" , FMJ 72" , Nelo 70"
Those factors above coupled with BJS excellent long jab and very good movement lead me to think this fight might be similar to Floyd-Nelo.
That's a very British sounding post.
You're going to feel really silly if these two ever fight. I like BJS and have since before he fought Eubank, but he's really not that good.

ha ha I'm not British sounding or British at all.

This is what I like to be a boxing fan, the thrill if you're having the right analysis of the outcome of the fight specially if you're rooting for the one you think will win the fight. You will feel ecstatic or silly. Just like those of us who felt foolish after the Saunders-Lemieux fight specially those who think Lemieux would win by decision and those who think Lemieux would win by KO

Canelo ain't ready for that, Sweet Pea Saunders is too slick, too bruva. Those are advantages Canelo can't overcome, especially the "too bruva" part

Should be a competitive fight but I don't see Dela Hoya rushing to make it happen before the rematch with GGG, I think they've seen everything GGG can do in there and he's only getting older, less hungry and slower, I think Canelo will be a lot more acclimated to fighting at 160 in the rematch and his stamina will be a lot better, he also has something to prove this time. I think they might know what to tweak this time around to get the victory + they have the judges on their side. Saunders should fight Jacobs and the winner should fight the Caneo vs GGG winner in September.

Billy Joe is a completely different fighter than GGG, he might not be on the same level, but he for sure has a difficult style to deal with and he's a pretty big rangy middleweight so Canelo's sharp counterpunching style won't be as effective because he needs time to set, plant his feet and then throw, during which Billy Joe would land his combos and get out of the way, Canelo can catch him with some body shots here and there and maybe slow him down.

The only reason why I might favor Billy would be styles, even though Canelo is a proven better fighter than Billy Joe, he just has to resort to being a hunter and that's not his style and he doesn't have the physical attributes to do it at middleweight.

Will be a better fight than some are giving credit for, some are saying it will be a stink fest etc but I think it will actually be closer to an action fight as I dont think neither has the 1 punch power to seriously hurt each other to the chin, the body is another thing.
is going to be Lara 2.0
