Absolutely... The difference in power is a big factor, I think canelo beats him
I agree, BJS elusiveness will surely pose a difficulty factor for Canelo but I believe canelo has the skillset to overcome and conquer. Will be a better fight than some are giving credit for, some are saying it will be a stink fest etc but I think it will actually be closer to an action fight as I dont think neither has the 1 punch power to seriously hurt each other to the chin, the body is another thing.

Absolutely.. I don't think it'll be boring either. Saunders has shown he can be aggressive and throw the first punch and I can see canelo countering him with some explosive shots and making it pretty exciting. And yea i can canelo hurting saunders to the body. I think if anyones gonna get hurt its Bjs.. Like you said canelo has the skill set, I just hope canelo has worked on his endurance, Its the only thing i question at this point
Good fight. Physically Nelo and Lemieux are the same, 5'9" tall with 70" reach though DL might be heavier since he's having trouble making the 160 limit. Of course Nelo is much more skilled than DL and that will be a big factor. Southpaw Saunders will be the biggest boxer Nelo will ever faced (except maybe the drained Chavez Jr.) since Saunders is 5'11" with 73" reach. BJS looked very much bigger in there with Lemieux. BJS is a big middleweight, the same size with Daniel Jacobs. I can see the BJS-Nelo fight quite similar to FMJ-Nelo fight.

Canelo's EFFECTIVE reach is wildly different than Lemieux. DL looks like he has T-rex arms because he's very squared up, has awful form, and no footwork. Canelo knows how to get himself in position and throw when a guy is at the end of his punch.
Saunders has NO chance of pulling off a Mayweather-type performance. Sorry, but that's really a delusional thing to say, considering what we've seen from Saunders in the past. He doesn't have that type of counter-punching, movement, or ability to work when moving. If this happens, you'll see Saunders as the heavy underdog, and for good reason. Saunders would be better off fighting Golovkin, for stylistic reasons.

Floyd is much more skilled than BJS but BJS has better advantages than what FMJ had over Nelo in other department that might compensate what's lacking in his skillset.
Stance - BJS is southpaw and 2 of Nelo's most competitive fights were against southpaws (Lara and Trout) and some saw those fights with Nelo losing them.
Weight - this fight at 160, FMJ fought Nelo at 152.
Height - BJS 5'11" while FMJ 5'8" , Nelo 5'9"
Reach - BJS 73" , FMJ 72" , Nelo 70"
Those factors above coupled with BJS excellent long jab and very good movement lead me to think this fight might be similar to Floyd-Nelo.
