It's more about the impact AJ has had. One fight doesn't sound like a major achievement but that fight will be talked about decades later. It's also put boxing on the map in the UK.. If you think about it, without AJ who else is there in boxing that transcends the sport in the UK. AJ was easily the most recognisable person on the list of contenders.

Plus the public always take pride pride knowing they have a heavyweight World championship that represents the country.. The heavyweight champion title may just be the most coveted achievement in all sports.

He got almost double the percentage that Tyson Fury got in 2015, and Tyson's win was more impressive (undefeated for a decade, reigning champ, in Germany) and he picked up more belts. There were calls to remove him because of his '****phobic' and 'sexist' comments.

Crickets when it came to Joshua's "superior black race" comments. I think he did pretty well all things considered

They actually got around the same amount of votes. Tyson Fury achieved greatness but that wasn't a night to remember.. It was a absolute stinker.. Put the viewing public to sleep.. Surprised the public gave him as many votes as AJ got.. despite his ****phobic and sexiest comments being news headlines at the time.

Im pretty fast myself , one would need to be well above average to out race any trained runner like Mo ,particularly if you are also above 230 pounds which is certainly not an advantage against a much lighter guy who practices in that sport .

                Tyson Fury ruined Wlad.

The people behind the SPOTY obviously didn't want to reward a guy just for mopping up what was left of Tyson's sloppy seconds.

The BBC is a business just like any other business and doesn't want to pi$$ off license payers.

This was the same organisation that shielded a known *****phile, Jimmy Saville, and allowed him to continue hosting a children's show, where he was allowed to sexually abuse them in their dressing rooms. BBC executives knew, but were silent for years because the show was so popular.

EVEN AFTER HE DIED, they still tried to conceal evidence until the government had to intervene and and investigate. So, fuvk the BBC!!!
