Disappointing isn’t the word. I wasn’t expecting Rigo to win, but what a letdown. I had hoped Rigo would at least make a good account of himself. What he wound up doing was beyond my worst expectations.
Spot on man! Couldn’t agree more

Unbelievable that biased people don't see the constant holding, bending below the waist, and other illegal things some posters here mentioned. Don't even know why such people like this TS exist.

Why do people do that? This is the topic of discussion, lets talk about this fight not other stuff that has nothing to do with THIS FIGHT.

Half of those were the side of the head.

Anything past the ear is considered a rabbit punch.

So because a guy holds you, you can bite his ear off? Hyperbole sure, but thats insanity. Someone fouls so you can foul to any degree as a result? You're mentally ******ed.

I saw the fight first. You're wrong. Not surprising.

Yes they were intentional. You are wrong again. You're pretty good at this!
You sir, have a serious case of cognitive dissonance.
You know how easy rigo could avoid this? Stop bending below the waist and stop clinching every two seconds.

He knew when he went for fouls (clinching & bending below the waist) he would have met fouls back.

The only one Loma shouldn't have done -- punching after the bell. I reproach him for this.

All else is OK for modern boxing, like it or not. Especially against a fighter who came into the ring to hold and bend low.

They were both fouling in different ways.

If Rigo didn't duck so low and go into Loma to grab him etc... then there would have been less punches like that by Loma.

It certainly wasn't a clean fight. However that's not the reason why Rigo quit. Stop making excuses for a quitter because they CLEARLY stated a hand injury
