    someone nailed it, again.....

..... David Lemieux, is the epitome of average

he is " just " a puncher..... nothing more

he is bread-n-butter for a good fighter, which Saunders is

hopefully BJS proves that tonight, which I think he will

Saunders has above average skill and enough power to keep Lemmy honest, which should do the trick

Saunders is already inside Lemieux's head

I expect Lemieux to miss wildly and blow his load down the stretch

if he does not catch Saunders with something early, it could be a long frustrating night for him

..... Lemieux has never been a top level fighter so if Saunders wins it'll be a good win for him but not a huge upset. Lemieux isn't top 3 in the middleweight division.

..... Lemieux is the epitome of average, just a tough-guy puncher..... difficult for someone like Curtis Stevens, but bread-and-butter for a skilled boxer

Lemieux is not a genuine world-class fighter, Saunders could be with commitment/activity..... currently, neither of them operate at the level of Golovkin/Canelo/Jacobs.....

a re-dedicated Saunders, with a couple of recent fights under his belt, really should be viewing Lemieux as a showcase opponent..... his plan should be to defuse/dissect the "killer" in his own back yard, schooling him while looking great in the process.....

Saunders had no problem travelling because the venue/opponent are a perfect showcase opportunity
..... I would be very surprised if Lemieux was the favorite, even fighting at home

you guys were sleeping on Saunders

and, NO..... that was not his best performance.....

I have been watching him since he was a kid

thank god we no longer have to listen to guys refer to Lemieux as world-class

back in Dec 2015, when Golovkin offered Saunders a paltry 1.5mil (which was ridiculous)..... and then rushed off to fight Wade/Brook, with NO counter-offer.....

..... did you guys REALLY think that Golovkin suddenly changed his mind, and walked away from his "dream"..... ?

Saunders was just the latest in a long line of skillful fighters who exploit movement that Golovkin found a reason not to fight..... "dreams" and all

Jacobs was a mando, and Canelo was a payday.

      1) it is clearly obvious that 1.5mil was ABSURD

      2) despite it being plainly obvious to knowledgeable observers..... I have a link where Abel Sanchez admits that Golovkin is not the same fighter if his opponent does not stand in front of him

      3) despite those two facts, you mugs called me a hater, just for stating the obvious

if Lemmy wins it will be a huge upset, and Saunders will be done at the top level
You were so right. Saunders proved his worth today. I was 200% Wrong. Good call

Damn I haven't been that wrong in a VERY long time??? I guess that's why you never mix business with pleasure. So where does this go from here???

I thought they both were "C" class fighters??? Does this mean Saunders is a "B-" ?? Or Lemuix is a "D" Class fighter???

I have NEVER referred Lemuix as a world class boxer. He got KO'd by Ricky Martin Rubio and 154lb Alcine beat him... You must be thinking of GGGTards?? Who rank ALL Gtards opponents P4P Top 10 when he fights them. And then POOF they turn back into Pumpkins when they fight anyone else...

Good Call as always!!! Should of listened to you.

Well done for manning up and admitting you were wrong. You were far from the only one early on in this thread.

I always said that he could be in that mix

up there with the top three, I mean

I actually had him ranked #2 at 160 up until the Golovkin/Jacobs fight..... then I had him ranked #3, behind Golovkin/Jacobs, until after the Canelo/Golovkin fight - what with Canelo never actually fighting a middleweight opponent..... now he is a firm #4, but there is likely very little between all of those guys as we saw with Jacobs/Canelo when they fought Golovkin

..... so he has actually slipped in my estimation, as other fighters staked a better claim with top performances against a top opponent..... but yea, he is in that mix

he certainly will not be regarded as a no-chance no-hoper underdog like Jacobs/Canelo were before they fought Golovkin

but GGG is MUCH better than Lemieux, as he proved..... so Jacobs/Canelo deserve to be ranked ahead of Saunders due to their razor-close draws/losses/wins, however you saw it

folks shouldn't blow too much smoke up his ass just yet, those other guys are next level, he aint gonna do that to them

there are other fighters at 160 who could also make things difficult for those guys over the next couple of years, but not a lot has changed to me as yet..... as far as I am concerned the best thing to come out of this fight..... will be Bill's mouth..... expect a ton of pvssy-borat, ginger-minge, taxi-cab driver, comments directed at the other three over the coming weeks

The 160 divison is back to being one of the BEST again!

What order would you rate these guys???

                    Andrade
                    Canelo
                    Charlo

                    Murata

                      Murata
                      Sergiy

                      1) Golovkin/Canelo (with Jacobs)
                      2) Saunders
                      3) the rest

they can earn their ranking, rather than rely on me to guess

like I did 1-2 years ago at welter

when they become relevant, I will rank them

Canelo has the highest ceiling and is likely the best fighter..... but Jacobs/Saunders would be difficult fights that we have to see

there will not be a lot of opportunities at 160 over the next 12-18 months, even Danny Jacobs will struggle to find big fights

Canelo/Golovkin/Saunders will squeeze out those other guys as they settle their business, and Jacobs will have to make a different path unfortunately..... nobody will hand him anything..... same with those other guys

they will simply have to fight each other, like the welters eventually realized

the obvious (lesser) fight to make is Charlo/Andrade..... but those guys all need to get in the mix..... same with Derevyanchenko/Murata

throw them in the deep end, and see who floats to the top..... those who don't wanna get thrown in the deep end will not get a ranking from me.....

middleweight is getting hot at the top.....those other guys are either up there, or they are not relevant
