Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Saunders Can Send a Message To Canelo, GGG

BILLY JOE SAUNDERS has travelled across the Atlantic to prove to those in America he deserves a shot at the middleweight big boys. The WBO champion defends his title against Canadian and hometown favourite David Lemieux in Montreal early on Sunday morning.

BJS is a very skilled fighter that is finally taking training seriously like he should have been doing 5 years ago.

Once he beats Lemi tonight, his resume will have Eubank Jr, Andy Lee, David Lemieux and Willie Monroe jr on it and he's still only 28 years old compared to GGG being 35.

              Tonight's Fight will be EPIC.

              PUNCHER vs COUNTER PUNCHER.

One box always moving forward, the other always looking for counters.

              Brute Force vs Skill.

Only reason he beat Lee was because he had a round with 2 knockdowns, which helped him barely escape with the victory. He got outboxed most of that fight by another average fighter. Monroe is not even top 15 at 160. Eubanks was a good victory, but the Eubanks now would EASILY BEAT SAUNDERS.

Billy is biting the dust tonight. He gots nothing to keep LeMule off. He might get a quick break from a friendly ref in the UK, but not in Montreal. A small ring will fix all that boxing he plans to do.
