Camacho Jr. got robbed!

I had Tsurkan ahead on the cards. To be honest I though Camacho looked pretty bad. He was extremly tired and getting hurt by punches that were not real hard. He has some power and has a good counter, but Tsurkan to me was the aggresser and scored more. Bad stoppage, probably, but I don't think Camacho was going to last much longer.

Camacho was too fat/out of shape, and was being too lazy. On the ropes taking repeated combo's without throwing anything at all back gave the red no choice but to stop the fight. Regardless of how many landed, Tsurkan must have threw about 20+ unanswered punches before the ref stepped in.

Definently a premature stoppage, however, Camacho was throwing absolutely nothing in return and looked like he was ready to pass out.

Originally posted by rocketpuncherBonafide, is that really possible that the judges had Tsurkan ahead on the scorecards?! That can't be right, where did you read that? I did the round by round for Camacho Jr-Tsurkan here. I gave Tsurkan 1 round up until that point. Camacho Jr was just way too good for him and had him in very serious trouble in the 4th. Tsurkan was definitely throwing a lot, but Camacho Jr landed 62% of his power shots! Camacho Jr would've probably stopped Tsurkan eventually, was this a 12 round fight?
If it's really true all 3 judges had Tsurkan ahead, something fishy is going on. The referee even warned Camacho Jr for holding in that either round before Tsurkan's flurry prompted the referee to stop the fight. But it was Tsurkan who was holding. The commentators found that pretty odd. They did a slow motion replay of the series of punches Tsurkan threw that went unanswered by Camacho Jr. It's true Camacho Jr was only blocking the punches, but ZERO of them landed! How can a referee stop the bout when the other guy doesn't land a punch?!? I can't believe there's not more outrage over this.
I didnt read it. It was shown to people watching the fight on PPV just before the Tarver/Hopkins fight by Merchant & Lampley. This is the end of Camacho jr career i believe.

But they did show a slow motion replay of the stoppage and confirmed what I saw. That Tsurkan landed zero punches against Camacho Jr. And Camacho Jr wasn't just standing there getting lucky that nothing was landed, he was actively blocking, bobbing and dodging. I didn't see Camacho Jr getting tired and certainly not in trouble at all. The only guy who was ever in trouble in this fight was Tsurkan at the end of the 3rd round and majorly in the 4th round.

Got robbed?
Yeah it may look that way but again as I said, fighters got robbed because they let it happen.
It's either he is so ****i'n ****** not to throw back a single punch or he is really ready to pass out. That's what it is.

Originally posted by rocketpuncherI was flipping between the 2 PPVs, so I probably missed that. Guess I saw something different than everyone else. I seem to be scoring fights much different than judges lately when 1 guy is much more aggressive while the other guy does more damage.

The guy had no gas. By the middle rounds he had his mouth wide open. Camacho probably would have been stopped in the next round. The refereee will always stop the fight if you cannot defend yourself, Camacho was more tired than hurt IMO.
