    Camacho Jr. got robbed!

That in no way should have been stopped. A standing 8 was warrented, but the ref should not have stopped the fight!

Andrey "The Bronx Bomber" Tsurkan of Russia scored an eighth-round TKO against Hector Camacho Jr., for the vacant NABF 154-pound title. The highlight was the fourth round, in which a Camacho left had Tsurkan headed for the canvas, but Tsurkan recovered with a flurry to daze Camacho.

Then, in the eighth, Tsurkan (23-2, 15 KOs) had Camacho (41-2-1) on the ropes, though Camacho appeared to be blocking Tsurkan's punches. Referee Randy Newman, however, stopped the fight at 1:42 in the round, prompting protests from Camacho but to no avail.

Of course, Camacho was dumb enough to fight on the undercard of Hopkins/Tarver.

Pre mature stoppage but Camacho was gassing out and probably would have been stopped in the next round or even round 10. I think the ref saved him from getting KO'd in front of all those people...but yes premature stoppage at the time. But Camacho was so dam tired already.
