This will be GGG level mismatch, trust me.
But know knows if Saunders is worth a hoot as a boxer? Saunders has never beat a quality opponent-. Yet

Lemieux will be the litmus test for BJS.

Any one who knows about boxing and has watched Saunders career knows he is good, not the most entertaining, but a really good boxer with skills to pay the bills.

This was a whitewash in Saunders favour, just like I knew it would be. Schooled the b level Lemioux.

**** on the money there mate, the issue with boxing fan is this: If the fight is not from their country and isn’t a high profile name then they probably haven’t seen him fight before, some judge a fighter for the colour of his skin, nationality or resume.

Like you pointed out BJS is an underrated boxer with a high ring IQ, if he takes this seriously then I can see him causing serious issues with both Canelo/GGG winner.

I think a lot of people judge a boxer on the entertainment factor, which I admit BJS isn't a good watch for casual boxing fans, I enjoy watching his foot work and reflexes to avoid a punch.

He's a nightmare for GGG, takes him 12 rounds and makes him miss a lot, not sure he has the firepower to get his respect or win rounds though?

You were dead on, I picked BJS to win by wide points margin too.

Tbf, I doubt many Americans saw him fight and then he sat on that belt for a year. I also thought the criticism against Munroe was undue. It was an extremely easy win for him and he fought in 2nd gear.

I was stunned how well Saunders dismantled and outclassed the sad looking inferior Lemieux. BJ Saunders is way better than most thought and a viable champion who actually could beat GGG and canelo and Jacobs on any given night. Boxing now has another Brit as a force at middleweight. I am now a fan of BJ's.
