    crawfords resume..

is ****ing dogmeat. Whos he actually beat? People rating him p4p number 1, on the basis of what exactly? Its likely adrien broner would be unbeaten if he fought the opponents crawford had. Hes not had any real tests although someone told me yesterday he was chasing greatness when he fought gamboa. The rigondeaux fight showed that you can only truly see a fighters worth against top level opposition, so why are people rating crawford so highly? Cause he passes the 'eye test' just like rigondeaux supposedly did? This isnt the opticians, theres no prizes for passing an eye test. Youve got to prove yourself against top opponents. Thurman and spence in his weight class both have better wins than crawford does.

    Gamboa, Burns, Postol, Diaz, Indongo.
Who has Thurman and Spence beat and how did they beat them? Last I check Crawford dominated his wins. Thurman barely got past Porter and Spence barely got past Brooks. It's who you beat but also how you beat them.
Also Gamboa went up in weight to fight Crawford so that win doesn't count much like the Rigo fight doesn't count towards Nomaschenko.

will be honest im not impressed with any of that line up mate. Surely have to beat better fighters than that to be considered pound for pound?

well sosa was trash & walters was overrated (almost stopped against a lightweight donaire) and rigo is 37 moving up 2 weight classes to have meet lomachenko.

i have crawford at number 1 moving up to welterweight starting off with horn.

Porter, Garcia and Brook are better wins than anything on Bud's resume, lets be real here. Of course it's harder to look good against those guys than it is against Indongo and Burns

I like the Diaz and Postol wins for Crawford, those are legit.

I was skeptical about Crawford for a while, but I'm sold now, I still don't think he's #1, but I'll throw him into the top 5 no problem. If TR and PBC start doing business, Crawford can really enhance his resume at 147

Errol barely got past Brook? What drug are you on?

I'm pretty sure people rate him p4p #1 based on his win against Gamboa, 140lb fighters, and his former undisputed status at 140. Personally, I'm not 100% sold on Crawford, until he beats good welterweights. I wouldn't take p4p lists too seriously, if I were you.

What fight did you watch? He got confused by Brooks movement for the 1st six rds and than broke brook down. If Brook's face wasn't so fragile Spence would have lost. Crawford's movement would give Spence hell to come.

to be fair though spences pressure had a lot to do with brook breaking down.

Didn't Crawford got outboxed the first 4 rounds against Gamboa?
