How lame would a Salido Lomachenko rematch be now?

I do enjoy our little quarrels Robbie...
But the punches are not hitting Loma’s arms and then ricochetting down to his nuts, they’re already on that trajectory. Where the other fifty or so lowblows that Salido landed throughout the fight also Loma’s fault?

As a free fight on ESPN, I think it could do quite well with both Loma’s and Salido’s following as well as casuals tuning in...Comment

The problem that I and other Loma fans had was that Salido didn't make weight. Loma made weight for the Rigo fight with a pound to spare. Rigo was ****** to decline the fight at 126 and was even ******er to jump two weight classes. Loma didn't want the fight once he moved up because of the size difference but Rigo kept calling him out and the public demanded it. Apples and oranges.
But overall, I didn't care too much about the weight (can't speak for other fans). What annoyed the hell out of me was that Salido landed enough low blows to get disqualified and the ref didn't even take a point away. I've never seen such blatant fouling allowed like that. My blame isn't on Salido as much as it is on Cole. That wasn't the first fight Cole loused up.Comment

Avenging a robbery loss isn't lame. It is a necessary action. The problem now is, the detractors, who are the main reason it needs to be avenged, are crying that it is now a pointless fight. In 10+ years, beating the breaks off an old Salido will make the resume read better.Comment

It would be lame now. Journeyman Roman just sent Salido into a 4 day retirement.Avenging a robbery loss isn't lame. It is a necessary action.
