there was something satisfying about seeing Benn knocked on his ass twice.

      Damn Good Fight!

I had it even after six, but I admire the way Been came back.

Every young fighter needs tests like this.

      Rematch anybody?

Good for him to come back from KD's in the first test of his career and find a way to win....but he isn't going anywhere. He's probably gonna get wiped out at British level. Does he even beat guys like Andy Keates and Tyler Goodjohn? I don't think so right now. An English or Commonwealth title may be his ceiling

            Benn will be fine

Benn had tough night and he looked as so many experts love to say "exposed" but he has very limited amateur experience and this was only his 11th pro fight at 21 years old. There's no need to rush this kid into any big fights yet he needs at 2-3 years of the right fights so he can become a world champion but he had an off night tonight but yet still won that's all that matters.

              I scored it 7-10
              9-10
              10-9
              10-9
              10-8
              10-8
              Conor Benn win 56-54

In what was the best 6 rounder I have ever seen. Benn's athleticism when needed in defence and attack were indeed very impressive, he is open a hell of a lot but when he wanted to he adjusted to survive, landed some bazooka jabs and that lateral movement with the jab to the body he really should work his game more towards that.
He then showed heart to brawl and get the 2 knockdown's to win.
Unfortunately his lack of regard for defence needs to be addressed, I think he needs to become a [B]boxer-puncher[B] rather than the brawler that he seems to be right now.
Fantastic determination to win that fight, inspiration to all novice fighters out there!

Benn does nothing special at all, and often actually does a lot of things worse. To fight the style he is doing, he needs to have a rock hard chin and also power to really deter people. He has neither, but hey, he's giving it a go.

I think a draw would have been a fair result to be fair

Lot of people hating on here for no reason. I think Eubank jnr and Conor catch a lot of stick because their dads were legends . It's as if some people are Jealous which is weird

Not every prospect is gonna be a world beater..... he's still learning got bags of heart a grinded out a win (should have been draw)

Look forward to see him fighting again he's exciting

The points margin was way out, The best Connor could hope for was a draw. I'd like to see him, Man, up & give the feller a rematch in France!
