It's good that he had this experience early in his career. Now he knows what he has to work on. Even though he was awarded the victory the punishment he took early was as close to a loss as you can get and will teach him to be honest in training and working on his craft more seriously.

Its good for a prospect to overcome adversity and grow from it.
But I dont see Benn being talented enough to make the cut. His opponent was easily able to land on Benn and Benn is also way too open during exchanges.
I know there was a big urgency to win on points, so he didnt have enough time and rounds to set up his punches, but he was just walking forward shooting his 1,2 and was also very crude on the inside.
Luckily the other guy was garbage in close distance and was broken down in the later rounds.
