Why is everyone hating on Horn soo much? I can see he’s not a great boxer, he won’t hold the title against a top level guy. But, he’s a school teacher from a country that doesn’t really support boxing, he’s not a big trash talker, he’s just earning a living and getting hit in the head a lot to do it. The Australian’s know who he is because they don’t really know anything about boxing and they put his face in the newspaper, but tbh if you chat to them, none of them know if he’s really any good and just support him to be patriotic. You can’t blame the guy, the problem with multiple sanctioning bodies is you always get these outliers holding a ‘title’ but real boxing fans know who is top of the game.

Australians know who Horn is due to the Pacman fight.

No one in Australia thinks Horn is exceptional and a poll here after the Pacquiao fight had a majority of Australians believing Pacquiao won the fight.

Aussies support Horn not so much due to patriotism (hence the huge support for Pacquiao in the Horn fight) and more so due to his story....

The scrawny, soft spoken, bullied little kid who became a school teacher, represented his country has now become a world champion........

Crawford is his mandatory so he either fights Crawford or gives up his belt. He doesnt seem like the type that runs from a challenge so expect horn crawford in April in Australia. Fans shouldnt be encouraging fighters to duck. Once Crawford gets that belt he will be the man to beat at 147. Hopefully the other champs will grow some balls and fight him
