Comments Thread For: Hearn on DeGale: When You Are Free Agent, Nobody Gives a F***!

Promoter Eddie Hearn has given his take on the recent turn of events for the career of Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale. The boxer was poised for major fights in 2018, against domestic rivals like George Groves, Callum Smith and Chris Eubank Jr. But DeGale's career took a turn for the worse last Saturday night in London, when he suffered a stunning twelve round decision loss to huge underdog Caleb Truax, who with the victory walked away with DeGale's IBF super middleweight world title.

If I’m DeGale Hearn would have to see me for a good old fashion man to man talk. See if his energy is the same as it is in the interviews. He’s been acting crazy every since Joshua turned into a star

Hearn as usual makes complete business sense for his boxers but for the fans it's not quite so good .Every one of his fighters have got to have a rematch clause and he will not afford anyone to win without ordering a rerun.Like AJ. he will keep him out of harms way and build his and AJ's bank accounts. Not quite so good for the fans!

How would having a loud mouth promoter like Hearn help DeGale performance in the ring? Promoters can’t fight for you

He's dropped a major bollock if it's true about there being no rematch clause. Crazy.

Nah I'm saying if hed have signed with Warren, or Hearn or whoever, theyd have an invested interest in him winning, enough to sway the judges opinion. Warren couldn't give a **** if he lost, or if he was on Hearns card, if there was no guarantee that he would fight for him again.

Oh fùck off Hearn. Degale lived the nomadic life of a free agent because cùnts like you take the financial cream off the top aswell as the limelight so he went and found himself Haymon as an advisor who kept him paid well. Warren on the other hand took a gamble with all these marquee signings and it's not really going that great. So much for a respectable promotion rival. It might get worse soon with Saunders vs Lemieux.
