He was offered the fight at 126 for $500K. He priced himself out. A few years later he decides to accept the fight at 130 for $100K less than the original offer because he is now 37 and squandered his career fighting journeymen. While I do credit him with jumping a weight class to fight him, I'm not sure it was the smartest move he could make for $400K. Probably could have made that much or more fighting Frampton across the pond and would likely have beaten Frampton.

But considering that back in 2015, Rigo could have fought Loma at 126 for 750K and refused, karma bit him.
it was 500k from what I read

Credit for accepting??? If you adopt a kid and then dump it in the street next week do you get credit for being a great human being who adopts a child?

Rigo quit out before it even got bad. He gets no credit for walking into a fight that he was ready to walk right out of.

He just stood there, ducked, stayed ducked looking at loma & the ref & just grabbing alot. At the weigh-in he was 128 three pounds heavier than he ever weighed in his career then on fight night he came in at 130! Bad game plan! While loma came in at 137.

What did he "give in to"? He rejected more for the fight at 126 LAST year.

As much as it pains me to say especially after his performance, I'd say yes, cause he dared to do it and he had a lot to lose and he lost a lot. He was not Khan or Brooke.

You like a selfish hoe. He wanted to meet in the middle for the weight but they didn't so he was telling them to pay him more & they didn't want to do that either. This time they still didn't want to give him the weight but paid him more money. You would get taken advantage of I see....

Why lie though? He took LESS money this time based on facts and money. You know $400k is a smaller sum of money than the $500k Rigo admits to rejecting at 126? The number was believed to have been $750k too.
