The biggest surprise to me was Canelo took some very hard punches from Golovkin and didn't go down. Both guys can take a punch.

if i remember correctly GGG said because of Canelo was not bringing it - the mexican style fight and tried to avoid and run, he (Gennady) would just box him in the rematch, there wont be any "clashes of style" ****, it'll be another GGG-Lemeiux type of fight, jabing and schooling

You have to actually look at the punches. Pay attention closely and you will see at times when ggg landed his punches he didnt throw them that hard. I would see him land a 3 to 4 punch combo on canelo but they were weak compared to some of his other power shots. Then canelo comes back with one or 2 hard shots which seem more damaging compared to gggs combo. Looking at that you can see why canelo felt he won easy

Golovkin may have landed more punches but canelo landed the harder shots imo. I think canelo will come in a little more confident come fight night. Although since ggg felt he got robbed he probably will come more determined to try and win by knockout

Yeah I think it's going to be a better fight this time. Hopefully in May.

Thats what you gggroupies said before the 1st fight.you were claiming hed school him like lemule by jabbing & using superior footwork, bodywork & combos aka you gggtards were claiming hed fight exactly how canelo fought him in reality.

Canelo landed all the clean shots all night,he made g miss & look like an amateur throughout,he landed 44 body shots to gggs 8,

he landed more power shots total that were majority on gggs chin,

while ggg mainly would land weak ass probing jabs mainly on canelos temples/eyes-in other words canelo landed all the clean jaw shots & ggg landed grazing shots to the temples that made it through canelos guard..

Anything to delay the fight and make him age?
