Arum is always lying and badmouthing anyone who refuses to give him a good portion of their money. This is the same guy who literally told Floyd Mayweather he was crazy for thinking he could get $20 million for a fight with ODLH. This guy literally let Floyd Mayweather leave over that. Floyd got $300 million for whooping McGregor. Arum had ODLH and Mayweather, and let both of them go. Both became the biggest moneymaker in boxing once leaving TR. Arum missed out on hundreds of millions because he did not recognize the earning potential of these two. Sorry, if you let the two biggest moneymakers in boxing history leave you are not some promoting genius. You are a greedy idiot. Of course I definitely prefer boxing, but the events that UFC put on are just better. For example, look at that MSG card they put on with 3 legit world class title fights.

I'm not sure boxing outperforms UFC anymore, can any boxing promotion get a $200M a year deal offer from FOX, I think not. Can any boxing promotion average 250-300k PPVs sold every month, nope.

For all of Arum's faults he pays his fighters fairly, and at times at least, works with other promoters.

Dana being some sort of hero of the every-man has always been laughable for anyone following MMA.

Having said that, the more people investing in boxing, the better.

At the highest level yes boxing is king, but on average it's not close; UFC pulls $1 - $2 million dollar gates frequently. They also average 300k per PPV. Boxing isn't doing that.

They should as well invest in NFL and WWE since the UFC is doing great. UFC will also get involved in kickboxing, wrestling, Karate, jiu jitsu, taekwondo. Etc.
