Boxing is the sort of content they could use to boost their TV deal. Reports are claiming they're seaking $400 million per year, and right now bids are in the $250 million dollar range.

So some are speculating that Haymon and White are in the process of making deal for "UFC Boxing" (or something like that)

This comment by White seems to imply the rumors are true. Especially when coupled with his "100%" comment from a few weeks ago.

At the highest level yes boxing is king, but on average it's not close; UFC pulls $1 - $2 million dollar gates frequently. They also average 300k per PPV. Boxing isn't doing that.

No one has ever been able to outlast Arum... He's been doing this for 50 years.

I'm not sure boxing outperforms UFC anymore, can any boxing promotion get a $200M a year deal offer from FOX, I think not. Can any boxing promotion average 250-300k PPVs sold every month, nope.
Financially the annual numbers aren't close at all; UFC is miles ahead. Boxing just has the one or two events per year that breaks the bank.

I was scratching my head on that too. Sue Pacquiao on what grounds?

But we live in such a funny world. If he is serious about it, there is a lawyer out there who will find an issue somewhere.

I'm all for Dana coming into boxing as long as he doesn't bring the slave wages and choking contracts with him.

There is room for more excellent fighters in boxing.

Boxing cards are horrible. Nobody cares about anything but the main event. The UFC has stacked PPVs every month and has a good show on Cable TV every other weekend.
