Walters became a bum after Loma loss.... how about Rigo?

Walters was the "boogeyman" a few years ago and people said Lomachenko wasn't legit until he fought him. Well, after that fight, Walters was considered damaged goods/a bum who didn't take boxing serious.

I am wondering if anybody feels the same way about Rigo? Does anybody feel that Rigo is damaged goods, or should we finally give Lomachenko credit for a solid win?

Yes, 100% give Loma the credit for beating Rigo no doubt.

But Rigo is no means damaged goods; at least not yet. Give Rigo a few fights at his weight division, see where's he's at.

The haters will also say he's a bum.. 2 time gold medalist, one of the most technically gifted boxers. I been following the guy since the amateurs and he is special.. He just lost to someone who might just be the best p4p right now... Loma might just be the best fighter I have ever seen. Fkc the haters.

Rigo is 37 in cuban years which is like 42 in the rest of the world.

Walters is good. Idk what he's up to now. But almost no one was picking Walters to win (although he was considered a good betting value at +800).

Lots of people commented on Rigo being small and old before the fight, so don't be surprised when they maintain that position afterwards. And ultimately Rigo's career has just one quality win in it; he won't go down in the HOF or anything like that.

But there were some people picking Rigo to win and it was a big win nevertheless. An outstanding performance against an experienced, technical fighter.

              Rigo’s not a bum. He’s a bitch. There’s a difference.

Rigo quit which was terrible but it certainly preserved his career. Maybe he'll get fights at his own weight.

Neither Walters or Rigo are bums they were just outclassed. Proof that beating Donaire does not = greatness.
