Oh yeah! I'm Proud of Jean. Really good performance. He's still a top10 contenter at LHW.
Would love to see a rematch against alvarez.
Gong**** Jean Pascal for your outstanding career!

I agree.....Pascal is in a different country than me but I am glad his fans, including me, got to see a proper farewell with a knockout. I've enjoyed watching him give everything he has....what a fighting heart!

Let's be honest here, this was not Pascal's last fight... We'll see him again in Montreal for a mega fight against Bute, or Stevenson.

Y'know, that is a very good call. I'm not a big fan of Williams, but it seems he can crack a little. My guess is Elbiali would win that and it would tell us if he can fight over that level (which is above Jackson Junior and Chris Brooker). Williams has that win over "La Bomba" but that loss over Campillo tells me more about him.

I guess Elbiali met enough resistance for something to click in his head to convince him that he has other options other than boxing.

He might as well give it up cos its not going to get any easier.

Another fun night of fights from PBC

Two 50/50 fights with prospects, the Luis Ortiz showcase (which led to a great promo for the coming Wilder-Ortiz fight), and basically another 50/50 in the main event (faded former champion vs rising prospect).

Fun fights, likely didn't end up costing a ton of money, and everyone (sans the guy that Ortiz flattened) fought well enough to get to future opportunities if they want.

                Hopefully Saturday's shows measure up.

Pascal has fought some really tough opponents and held his own at times. Dawson, Kovalev x2, Hopkins x2, Froch, Bute, Gonzalez, Alvarez, and he finishes with Elbiali. Respect.

So happy for Pascal he always fought the best. Who demands two fights with Kovalev. Great career thank you Jean.
