If Parker could not knockout Hughie, I don't see him troubling Joshua will his punches.
He couldn't land on fury lol and fury did run a lot.... Joshua is there to be hit and he'll also bring the fight to Parker...so i wouldn't be surprised if Parker looks pretty good in this fight... A Parker decision wouldn't surprise me but Joshua willl probably knock him out lol

Easy to say Parker has a badman chin when it hasn't been hit yet by a decent heavy

Arum name dropping to try and get lomo in the headlines

Can't wait for lomo rigo anyway !!!!!!

Hope the fight lives up to the hype

If you think about it he most likely does. Higgins is somewhat of an amateur so he'd be very wise to draw on the decades of experience that Arum has promoting. You can bet Arum will not want to lose out on whatever cut he gets from his deal with Parker and thus he'll be pushing for the fight to be made too.

Which is probably why he thinks the fight will be made at 67/33, which is reasonable enough and coincidentally lower than Higgins bottom limit of 65/35.

Was inevitable that it'll be Higgins that concedes even more as he's just got next to no other options, especially with the amount of money there is for this one.

This is a real fight imo. Parker can find a home for his punches on a big, mostly static target like Joshua and he does actually put his punches together nicely when he gets the chance. His own lack of head movement may be his downfall though, since Joshua probably outguns him in a straight firefight

Joshua can absorb his punches though. Joshua doesn't burn himself out either. Joshua is dangerous all 12 rounds. Parker isn't Fury - he doesn't do anything particular awkward and has looked only good not great against lower-tier opposition.

Arum getting a little nice earning from this lol. Everyone wanting that Joshua payday. Like I said before the market decides what each side gets. You can call any side greedy or ducking or whatever, when it comes down to it whatever you bring to the table would be laid bare in negotiation.

I doubt that Joshua or Wilder would have an easy time with Ruiz, Takam and Hughie either (and in fact Joshua didn't with Takam, although he won clearer than Parker did). They are solid fighters, and Hughie in particular would be extremely difficult for anyone to look good against with his fleet feet and negative style

Joshua can probably absorb single punches from Parker, but like I said Parker can string them together nicely when he gets the chance and Joshua will be more available than Hughie was. I lean towards Joshua too, principally because of his raw strength, but Parker is a natural fighter with a good offensive skillset so I think it'll be a good, competitive fight
