I actually had to laugh at this. He beats them both on defence, speed, footwork, angles. Am a massive Loma fan, and so so on Rigo but to claim they both have all those advantages over Crawford is ridiculous at best. And he has that ring generalship that most boxers rarely have.

Rigo and Loma are both better defenders and their ring iq is on the same or slightly higher level than Crawford's.

I was hater of Crawford for beating small guys like Gamboa. But then he beat Postol and Indongo who are not small. Then he moved up to 147. And he is not coward like Mayweather i.e. not very defensive and he is not dirty like Ward. He wins each his opponents easily. Shortly I am a Crawford fan now. He is #1.

Among good fighters Canelo beat only smaller and old guys. He couldn't beat Lara clearly. GGG is similar. His fight against Jacobs was very close as Canelo-Lara. If he beats Charlo clearly, then maybe he will be at top 3.

I have to say, I think that Crawfords ring IQ/boxing brain is unparalleled since Ward, Hopkins, mayweather left the sport.
He has the ability to assess a fighter and make the adjustments to neutralise them very early in the fight, even if they have superior physical assests like an advantage in speed, reach or athleticism. To see him go through the gears and completely change the complexion of the fight after four or so rounds is a thing of beauty. And I absolutely love that he has bad intentions and loves to hurt and stop people much more than Ward/mayweather/Hopkins. I can be a fan of a fighter because I appreciate their craft or because they're entertaining to watch, but it's both with Crawford.
