He will be fighting in Fresno for most of his career. But it is smart to expose him to a new market, and probably more importantly, the media center of the world. Arum did this with Crawford as well who has a big following in Omaha, Nebraska.

Good fight. I was really high on Imam b4 the setback. But maybe only looks really good against lesser comp. Granados is good, but he's not elite or anything, and Imam had no answers.

On the other hand, I always thought Ramirez was rather pedestrian, but his last couple of fights he's looks much better - much more disciplined and sharp in his offense. He may be too much for Imam to handle.

We'll see. I think I favor Ramirez, even tho its in NYC

It's pretty known and has been said from people in that area that very few people actually pay to go to the Ramirez fight. The tickets are handed out by the thousands and you can find them all over town at grocery stores and restaurants. So it's hard to really tell how much of a real draw he is since no one is really paying to go watch him.

with that being said, there's a lot of free things to do on a saturday night and 13k people dont flock somewhere even if it's free unless it's of interest to people.

I see this as a very good fight. Imam is long and lanky and much bigger than Ramirez. Ramirez rely's on pressure so it'll be interesting to see if he can get inside on Imam and do some damage and it will be interesting to see if Imam can keep Jose away with his reach. Both fighters come forward and fight. Imam has real power where ramirez is mostly a volume puncher. It's a pick em fight for me.

I think Ramirez can beat Imam, he is not very skillfull fighter, but can give a good pressure.
And Ramirez beat a 5.5 man when he is 5,10.. How has Ramirez beaten to make you think he can beat Imam?
