MMA is better in some aspects.

I recently started watching some MMA (mostly women MMA) and I can say it's far more exciting and less corrupt than ****** boxing.

Boxing is great but MMA is more complete, and more exciting because boxing is ****ed up by corruption. So boxing itself is not the problem, but the status of the sport is bad because there's no fair play in any way.

Boxing can still compete but it's mostly a place where people with self steem and insecurity issues lookup for boxers to fill their empty space. Those who want real excitement move to another sport.

Kinda hard to watch a fight when I know I can go into the ring and beat both people up at the same time. I will pass on women fighting

I like mma to a certain extent but if a straight up boxer or a straight up jiu jitsu dude CAN go in there and whoop a bunch of dudes I don't consider you complete. It takes away the reputation of the "best fighters in the world" thing

UFC 217 was entertaining from start to finish. Rose vs Joanna, Bisping vs GSP had me literally screaming at the screen with joy. I love their format too - right next to their names, time and round number is the rank e.g. 3 vs 5 contender. It's awesome how you know it's a top contender facing another top contender vying to race up to the top. You'll never have a number 5 contender facing a 15th or 20th ranking fighter, sh\t even the fights on UFC Fight Night which isn't the main event has the best fighting the best and here's the important part....no marinating, lengthy negotiations over pay....Fans come first.

I've never been able to get into UFC or MMA. I can watch it here and there but it's just never grabbed me. A little too scrappy and I just prefer the look and flow of punches and the sweet science. I'll take UFC over a Boxing wrestling match like Ruiz or Ward but that's it.

UFC has a lot of dumb ignorant fans that always try to bash Boxing to bring their sport up and claim 100% of the world's talented athletes are in MMA BUT outside of hardcore boxing fans (and that's probably around 50% of this place) I'm sure their fans are much more rationale and reasonable on their own sport. Think about it. Boxing fans ***** and complain and cry about everything and nearly every fighter is a bum and they **** on every fight unless it's their idol (looking at a lot of Mayweather and Pacquaio fanboys) whereas it seems MMA fans share a general enthusiasm and respect for their fights and fighters.

Just look at this place nearly half the board thinks Mayweather, Pacquaio, Lomachenko, GGG, Crawford, Marquez, Cotto etc; are bums.

I bet you could also go to a kindergarden and beat up a whole classroom of kids as well, those pesky little loud suckers.
