Comments Thread For: Arum: Lomachenko Will Stop Rigondeaux By 9th or 10th Round!

Vasyl Lomachenko's promoter expects him to demoralize Guillermo Rigondeaux, similar to the way he broke Nicholas Walters' will a year ago. Bob Arum predicted the Ukrainian southpaw not only will beat Rigondeaux on Saturday night, but will stop the unbeaten Cuban or make him quit. The Top Rank founder made the prediction while speaking to Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett on the avid boxing fan's podcast, "Walking the Floor."

I think Loma wins by KO in the 10th as well. I expect a great fight that the bigger man wins.

Loma is really good and will be the bigger guy. Maybe Rigo can use his reach to pull the upset but I don't see it.

Rigo’s not getting stopped. I’ll take that bet any day.

Loma beats Rigo convinsingly, not sure about KO.

It's so sad to see a great boxing champion like Rigo be 37 years old with only 17 pro fights! I hope he does Loma just like Donaire, just to piss off Bob Arum! WAR RIGO!

I don't think it will be the size, but the age (37) might be a factor! Rigo's beat chance is to get a KD or two in the early rounds and coast!

This. I root for Lomachenko but sleeping on Rigondeaux is the WORST mistake ever. People act like we're not talking about the BEST defensive fighter of this time or arguably the best amateur and the best Cuban fighter ever

They have to stop with that fanboyism, the fight is coming real soon so there's no point in arguing who's going to get schooled, boxing is unpredictable, that's why we love it
