How the hell is Crawford P4P number 1 when his best wins were still against friggin Viktor Postol and a smaller Gamboa?

I'll believe the hype when he beats someone notable. Until then, he's just that, hype. He definitely has potential, but he hasn't beaten a single top 5 fighter yet.

What is it, his "undefeated" record of fighting bums?

I get what Thurman is saying here. However, he did say the same thing about Spence and is now pushing back that fight even though Spence is the champ. Will he say the same after Crawford beats Horn to win the WBO?

Eventually, I think he will fight either Spence or Crawford. I don't think he is a ducker since his last two fights were against Porter and Garcia but he could word his responses better.

As for Crawford, it's not just the opponents, it's the eye test. It's not Crawford's fault that he was so much better than everyone else at 135 and 140. I saw him fight at MSG earlier this year and the guy is the goods. Now that he is at 147 where there are bigger names, he will have the chance to show it to the world.

I understand his logic, but I don't think it applies here. Crawford unified 140 and as universally recognized as one of the p4p best. Would anyone honestly have a problem if Crawford got a big fight right away?

Besides, Thurman says he needs a comeback fight. Spence is locked in for January, and Crawford will probably fight Horn or some ****. He doesn't need more than one fight. Thurman needs to fight Crawford or Spence this year, preferably Spence. Crawford can fight Porter later. Then the winners square off in 2019.

How the hell does Crawford have a better resume then GGG??? You smoking coke WITH De La Hoya??

He had a draw with P4P top 10 Canelo. Most felt he won and he beat Jacobs.

                  Jacobs/Canelo > Postol/Gamboa x1000

Have the organizations "always" done this or only in recent times?

not true. arum refused to let crawford-manny happen for more than 2 years. in stead he gave us the fights we've all been duing for, like pacquiao-bradley 3.

been sayin for years as soon as many cant win arum will make it an option.
