Some of the pro-Rigo arguments make sense but many don't. Shawn Porter basically said he would win because he was Cuban. I mean, that's incredibly ******. Sure, some Cuban fighters have been great but every fighter has flaws. They're not the super humans some guys try to sell them as being. Rigo's got a great chance but I still go with Loma.

      He sounds believable to me.

True, but I wonder who these guys were, too. I mean, I didn't hear him say they were like 140 either. And that's the quote the guy mentioned in the video. A lot of fighters can do that with soft opposition.

Rigo holds his shots. That's not going to change this late in the game. He is who he is. Unless he's able to really crack Loma early on, he going to get behind on points and worn down by the relentless volume and pace. I really want to see Rigo do well and I want this to be a 50/50 fight, but it's not and I don't think the stylistic matchup fares well for Rigo.

If Rigo pulls it off, I think it'll be a straight off of Loma's light/feinting double and triple jabs.

You think it's really that one-sided? I was figuring 60/40 at least. Ha.

Never seen any of his vids before.

Yeah, he seemed pretty biased but you know, trying to appear non-biased as so many people do.

A lot of talk about the Rigo knocking guys out in the gym story. I mean, so what? Loma could drop plenty of cans in the gym too, as could most fighters. And Loma ain't James ****ens. Come on, now. Haha.

Even with the reach, Loma has shorter arms, but he's ALWAYS had short arms for his size and I'm pretty sure he's used to it.

When I initially looked ta this, I graded their talents and thought it was damn near 50/50. Initially.
Thinking about their styles and re-watching old Rigo fight, I just picture him falling behind on the scores. I think Rigo will get in the better punches. But, the volume is where he'll fail.

The more I think about it, the more I'm baffled at how everyone is missing this. What is Rigo known for? WAITING for the right shots. Now, he's facing the best fighter he's ever fought, by a mile, and we're supposed to think he's going to completely change the way he fights.

Because Rigo can crack, I'll say this is a 75/25 in favor of Loma. The styles just make a bad formula for Rigo.

I think Rigo would have to crack him good and often. Loma's never been down and we have to remember that he's no slouch on defense either. Maybe if he got super ****y but I've only seen him get like that when he clearly had control of the fight. I don't think he'll do any showboating here. If he can punk Rigo, that will be quite special.

Apparently GGG was knocking down cruiserweights and heavyweights in sparring, and yet he never even moved up to super middleweight...funny how that works. Sparring don't mean ****, Rigo's reach advanatage is minimal, Loma has size advantage, we will see who has the better skills.

If I had to bet money it would be on Loma, but won't be surprised if Rigo can neutralise him.
