Why Rigo Will Win...According to Some

Saw this video last night. They make some interesting points about the Rigo reach advantage but at the same time, fights aren't determined on reach alone. I think Loma knows when to be cautious and when to press his opponent. It's an interesting video, but I think it's more hype from what one fighter said and a spook story about Rigo knocking out some 140 pound bums in sparring. I'm still going with Loma, but its interesting...

Rigo actually has a reach advantage? He’s the size of a 6th grader

I think he actually might. Loma doesn't have the longest arms. Rigo's are like two more legs when you look at him.

I don't believe the story about him KOing 4 welterweights in one sparring session. If he can easily KO welterweights with the 16 ounce gloves and head gear then he should have KOed all his 122 pound opponents. He has KOed 11 of his 17 pro opponents which is 61% of them. Loma has KOed 7 of his 10 pro opponents which is 70% of them. They are both great fighters but I am picking the bigger and much younger Loma to win and he is the betting favorite.

This is so dumb. He knocked out some bigger scrubs in sparring? OK??? I hate boxing analysis.

He didn't mention one legit advantage the entire video.

Yeah but Loma is the size of a 7th grader.

Pro Boxers and Trainers seem to have it pretty even. Which shows you how respected Rigo is with him moving up 2 weight classes.

He’s gonna look like Andre the giant compared to rigo at the weigh in

He brought up the reach advantage and showed how Rigo had power, but I'm not sold. And the spook story about the 140 pound guys I don't buy either. Did make me think a minute doe.
