The cheating country of Russia has shamefully and embarrassingly been banned from the 2018 Olympics. There is a possibility they might be banned for 2020 as well.

If 'drug cheats' means making use of modern technology in the most technologically advanced era of human human civilization, then I'd rather be that than a primitive caveman, living in the past caveman time rather than making use of what the modern civilization offers.

Anyway, this isn't just about Soviets but the rest of the world. Athletes have become better GLOBALLY than before because of drugs. Take them away, they won't be any different from the athletes of the 1930's / 1920's. It's no surprise that there was never an athlete prior to 1980 who was as athletic as Anthony Joshua who was alsoas tall and heavy as him. Modern drugs allow modern boxers to gain the benefits which ancient athletes could not. Complaining about 'drug cheats's is essentially akin to complaining about modern civilization.

In regards to Russia's cheating, there was literally a hole in a wall between two rooms and officials were transferring the athlete's dirty samples for their prior clean samples. The bottles were supposedly "tamper-proof" but they were still able to be tampered with. That's as clear as it gets.
