He embarrassed the bigger man in Nicholas Walters who is taller and had an EIGHT (8) inch reach advantage - I'd say he has done pretty good with only 10 fights so far.

I do recall most people favouring Walters to end the hype train, but he lost and is now a bum fading once again into obscurity

I know. Fight night he weighs around 139. And that was a couple of years ago. Now he's in the low 40's.

These are things EASILY looked up.

If they are easily looked up, would you mind providing links / proof to those claims? I've never heard of Loma weighing in OVER his walk around weight in a fight before - that is to say 140 or above.

I could be wrong though, I just haven't heard of that before you. Anyone?

List is a little outdated but you get the point.

Vasyl Lomachenko VS Gary Russell Junior - Contested at Featherweight

                Lomachenko: 138
                Russell: 138.5

Yeah I knew his fight weight was usually up to 138, because that's his walk around weight.

Nov, 2016 article: "If this fight will be at 135 weight category - I'm ready. At 135 - I'm ready. At 140, no - it's too big for me. My [walking] weight now is 138," Lomachenko explained to BoxingScene.com.

That wasn't his walk around weight and that was after his hydration weight at 126 NOT 130. I would add another 10+lbs for walk around weight from 130...

I find it highly unlikely Loma's walk around weight is at what he weighed after weeks of training. Loma walks around in the low 140's.
