Salido a dirty brawler. worst possible style for a career amateur with little pro experience like Loma

Salido coming overweight, two classes at least above Loma

Salido allowed to punch Loma's balls all night by pro-mexican referee

and still Loma was putting Salido on ***** street in the final rounds, and would have stopped him if the fight was just a round longer

we all know Loma would trounce Salido like a punk in a rematch

Loma proved his quality even in that unfair loss

He just processed everything so quick you made any mistake you paid. Its a shame there's such limited footage considering his credentials.

That guy is super smooth, impressive.

Floyd and its not even close. This man could go midrange without being touched. Off the ropes without being touched, in the pocket, and walk you down without being touched. And his defense goes beyond typical fundamentals. He understands the fundamentals in a way where he could get out of position, and slip your shot off balance, as if he was on balance. He understands things a bit differently.

And instincts-wise, he waits for the punch to get really close, and gets out the way at the very last second. Never seen anything like this in an overall fighter!

Beast for sure he wasn't your typical Cuban amateur that coasted he had a real nasty streak too one of my favourites to watch just a shame there's such little footage he has wins over Guttierez, Inkin, Ottke x3, Salem, Leu, Lebziak & Chris Byrd to name a few. A few more of his fights and some training footage can be found under his full name Ariel Hernandez Azcuy.

                Floyds right up there.
Mike McCallum also. One I feel that gets underlooked maybe because of his toughness is Holyfield he could do it all and was as complete as anybody.

In terms of pure athletic talent. Roy Jones Jr is the best I've ever seen so far. He boxed using his own invented unorthodox style which contradicted the typical textbook or fundamental way of boxing

In terms of combining athletic talent with the very best fundamentals and scientific boxing technique. Then for me, it's Vasyl Lomachenko and Oleksandr Usyk. Both are as athletic as they come, but are technically the very best I've seen whilst being as athletic as they are.

Before I even start this post I GUARANTEE YOU people will misconstrue what "talent" and "skill" are.
I'll help. Talent is something you are born with, it is your natural ability to learn and perform A SKILL.
Skill is something attained, you attain a high proficiency of a skill with hours upon days upon weeks of practice, repetition, and consistency. You can be talented and not skilled. You can attain a skill without talent for it.

With that being said, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the most skilled fighter of all time. He did everything right, and it allowed him to continue at the very highest levels of the sport well past his prime.
