Great win for Ali, but i don`t see him beating other 154 champs. But even post prime Cotto is a great name on resume, that`s for sure.

    Cotto, time to retire, really.

I watched the Spanish telecast! The commentators never mentioned a possible injured bicep. A family member who is a Physical therapist immediately pointed out the injury!

Did Lamps, Max or Roy Jones mention it? Usually HBO is good with that kinda stuff.

Did Cotto mention it to Freddie or Martin?

Cotto is not the crying or excuse kinda guy and went out like a champion!

What happened to Ring TV? I would have loved to see Ronny Rios fight!

I personally had it a draw but not mad at an Ali win at all, surprised he did as well as he did and even more that he got a fair decision. That injury Cotto attained, along with Ali picking it up and Miguel's weak stamina, really cost him a fight he had all but won. Hope he enjoys his retirement, great career with so many wars and fan friendly fights.

He's smoking crack. 154 is too big for Ali. Cotton looked bigger and cotto is TINY compared to these giants that fight at 154.

            Canelo is a MW now.

Fairwinds and following seas! Great career, good fight, just not enough. Father time is undefeated! However, the champ went out on his feet, and has nothing to be ashamed of! WAR COTTO!

Ali made the most of his opportunity and took the title that was gifted to Cotto. Now he's in a position to cash in and make some money.
Hope he enjoys his time as champ cause I don't think it will last too long. Ali's youth, speed and reflexes were too much for a faded Cotto, but as we saw against Vargas, the next level up is a different story.

Ali did good but i felt he could stopped Cotto, Cotto with that injury came like a beast in the 12th but im happy that Ali got the win he earned it

Idk if Ali is gona stick around 154, i think he should drop back 147
