Roach's advise to Cotto in b/w rounds against Canelo was something else.

        It went something like this:

"Push him back, he's done, he is not good going backwards"

        Next round

"That's it, use your legs" LOL

"Use your jab" - Cotto throws a jab in the beginning of the round only to get countered by a left uppercut from Canelo

"Throw the double jab and the right hand" says Roach, Cotto's got no right hand lol

After the 11th round where Cotto got beat up pretty good.

"You see, we're winning, he's done" lol

Roach is one of the worst trainers in boxing, he should thank the boxing gods that Pac and Toney stepped a foot in his gym.

I won't go on an anti-Roach rant like some 'fans' think they have to do any and every time they interview him. Which is pure b.s. IMO.

I'll just say I saw a comfortable win for Canelo and leave it at that.

This is the reason many people call Cotto a diva....he and his trainer lie. Cotto was afraid of Canelo, who beat him, closely but beat him. Cotto thought he was the A-side against Canelo but it was the other way around, Cotto priced himself out. Cotto prefered to fight Ali for nickles instead of earning much more in a Canelo rematch.

I would have to have a look at the video again but boxing judging is very subjective. One can name so many fights where you could conceivably name the other fighter the winner. Was Mayweather a clear winner against De La Hoya and Maidana I? I don't think so. Was he a clear winner against Pacquaio? Also doubtful. Did Trinidad beat Oscar? Of course not, but judges see what they see. And we see what we see.

There are a great number of fights that can be scored either way, and are highly susceptible to subjectivity. Canelo-Cotto wasn’t one of them. It wasn’t a drubbing by Alvarez, but it was a clear win. My goodness, if one has to win clearer than that to avoid subjective judging, we’re really doomed. Lol

Lara and GGG beat him but not Cotto, sadly. Was a good fight after the stinker Rigondeaux gave us fighter the pinoy fisherman (no joke).
How are u gonna say Lara beat Canelo and Rigondeux fought a Stinker in the same post ?
What was Lara's game plan ? Engage as little as possible ? If not for Canelo Chasing him the whole fight Lara woulda fought a stinker ! Like he's done MANY times before .
