I cant tell my score cause its been a while but i remember at first it was close than Canelo took over. I wanted Cotto to win but Canelo won a clear decision. Lara and GGG beat him but not Cotto, sadly. Was a good fight after the stinker Rigondeaux gave us fighter the pinoy fisherman (no joke).

It's hilarious when people claim lara beat canelo & ggg did too. Canelo did muuuch more effectively to ggg, what lara did to him.

So it's 1 thing 4 someone to say "he ran,so he lost" as most gggs fanbs now say,

based on the fact they believe fighters should emulate rockem sockem robots not boxers,but its laughable 4 them to claim that, then to say Lara beat him too.

Lara is the only fighter who can be classified as an actual "runner" vs Canelo,he came into the fight extra confident about having just kod angulo & beating trout ,& in the beginning of the fight he was actually trying to fight,but as soon as he got blasted to the ribs he instantly said no mas then proceeded to LITERALLY "run" the rest of the entire fight without unloading ANY of what canelo did to ggg all throughout the fight.

Cotto won that fight i agree or at lease a draw!Cotto put a good jab since the begining and landed more punches! that was a rob! Cotto clear beat Candelo!

Canelo won the fight to me. Cotto would have won if Canelo wasn't so big. The weight advantage definitely benefited Canelo. Cotto punches just didn't seem to inflict much damage to Canelo like it would another opponent. But I have to say those score cards were ridiculous it was closer than that. I don't see anything changing in a rematch either. Cotto isn't/wasn't a true middleweight.

Let's review both the lara vs nelo & canelo vs ggg fights as to why imo he won both but ESPECIALLY dominated Lara:

Canelo outlanded ggg in: power shots,by 6x the amount of body shots & only way less weak probing jabs-all at a way higher percentage than ggg.

Ggg only landed 6 shots to nelos chin & canelo landed 45 times on gggs chin.which demonstrates why the nonbiased say canelo landed the cleaner punches while ggg mostly landed ALL his punches to canelos upper head(in other words mostly grazing shots & jabs to the temples)

Lara outlanded canelo by 44 jabs & canelo outlanded him by 36 power shots,add to this that nelo threw 100 more power shots total,

So in other words 36 more power shots are WAY more effective than 44 jabs which is why canelo won

Power shot stats:
88/232 landed 4 nelo to 52/140- lara(which demonstrates canelo was a very effective aggressor)

unlike ggg who landed 110/342 to nelos 114/272 power shots. Ggg missed 485 punches vs canelo,canelo missed 318 vs ggg.

Ggg recorded his lowest ever accuracy% ,lowest body shot total & percentage by FAAAR.

Lara didnt come close to beating canelo & ggg did come waay closer(regardless if u think he won).

he paid cotto respect even when he was winning because he knows the threat cotto can bring! this is why he was hesitant in closing out the show.

Did you even watch the fight??? At which point was Canelo in trouble or even hurt??? And when was the last time Cotto KO'd a superstar??? Gimpy doesnt count.
