Margarito vs Collazo Sept. 9 ?

If a deal is completed with HBO for a Valuev fight, King would like to put New Yorker Luis Collazo on in the co-feature. Collazo lost his welterweight belt to Hatton in a very close fight May 13 in Boston.

King would like to match Collazo with titlist Antonio Margartito and contacted his promoter, Top Rank, about the fight. However, they are so far apart on money that the fight is a non-starter.

Lets see if MR. Most Ducked accepts the fight

Id love to see Callazo school Margarito but all Arum does is talk **** about Margarito this and Margarito that but then he never takes big fights. He just loves to throw Floyds name out there but now he has another credible opponent and wont take the offer, so I ask you who is ducking who?

I mean if Floyd turns down Margarito to fight Oscar for more money and people say he is ducking Margarito then cant you say the same about him? and this is even worse because Margatito has no other opponent lined up. He hasnt beaten anyone and doesnt draw a crowd but demands alot of money?

You'd love it, but it's not gana happen. Freaken Collazo got beat by a small guy in Hatton whos not a hard puncher at 147 or even a real welterweight and still beat Collazo. I can just imagine what Margarito would do to him.

Alot of people think Hatton lost. Also Hatton has had big wins on his resume and TKO the great Tszyu while Margarito just recently lost to a average fighter in Santos who was also a boxer just like Callazo.

              Callazo is the better fighter

Collazo is more than capable of beating Margarito IMO.

But he won't box for 12 rounds, which is why I could see him losing.

King is a smart man, he makes an outrages offer so his fighter can fight Margarito and knowing Arum won't accept the price, he then makes his fighter look good because now the media is reporting that arum turned down a fight for margarito to face collazo.

I havn't yet checked to see if this is true or not since their isn't a link. But it is very surprising to finally see a king fighter challenge Margarito. The sky is fallig or we are in hell, cause kings past 3 champions have not been allowed to fight margarito and all of a sudden he will allow collazo to fight margarito...wow...he must be asking for tons of money.

i hope the fight does happen, this will be a good name on margaritos list of ko's.

so what you're saying is that margarito will cut off the ring and not allow collazo to box...
