It's unlikely that fight will happen and Crawford is a naturally bigger man than Pacquiao regardless of what weight class they have been fighting in. Crawford is a great fighter in his prime while Pacquiao is a great fighter many years past his prime. Crawford would likely beat Pacquiao if they ever do fight.

I love Bud but that's a bad fight at this point. I think it would be good for Crawford to get the exposure (more than 4m tuned in for Pac-Horn. This could get 6m or more) but it would be a mismatch and Pacquaio would get stopped.

Pacquaio has been spent since Marquez knocked him and now he's 39 and got even more miles on the clock. I wanted it until I saw how he looked against Horn.

I will say this; Crawford is hell for Pacquaio at ANY point. He's an intelligent, versatile fighter who can counter expertly and be in and out. Those are styles that have given Pacquaio trouble all the way through his career. He's also not a sitting duck so though Pacquaio could and perhaps would have success (he did against everyone in his prime) he'd have a hard time with Bud.

No, it is good for him but not sure how I feel about feeding the old washed up legend to him. I'm not a fan of such match-ups (Norris-Leonard for example) though I am a Crawford fan and want him to be huge.

but that's just how it goes. out with the old, in with the new. how you expect to be crown king when you didnt dethrone the king himself? its just bad timing for bud, because pac still have some live rounds in that chamber.

It is but historically it's been old washed up champs struggling for money. In 2017 it should happen less especially to a guy like Pacquaio who's made so much.

Pacquaio is not the king anymore. He's not been a great fighter since 2012 and is not one of the 15-20 best fighters around now.

I'll watch the fight and be very happy for Bud and I don't like Pac but I'm just saying I don't like the fight.
