    Manuel Charr had been touted as the man who ended Germany's 85-year wait for a world heavyweight champion, but as it turned out, he is not a German citizen. After the 33-year-old's triumph against Alexander Ustinov landed him the vacant WBA world title on Saturday, questions have been raised about his nationality.

      Firstly how was he able to travel in and out of the country if he wasn't a citizen of Germany? He has lived in Germany since he was 5 years old and he isn't a citizen? Thats totally wrong.

      Secondly who does Puerto Rico's Fres Oquendo pays off to get a title shot? Last time he fought was in 2014 for the WBA title. I really don't get this.

          "Regular" champion.

          The "Super" champion having been elevated to "Super" status instanteously. Like becoming a professor emeritus your first day on the job.
