Pac wouldnt fight at 147!!! That was a fix! Yet he drained del down to 144 which he couldn't rehydrate back past 144. Fout hatton at 147. Why no cotto at 147+. True cw king was pac and roided. Oscar that fout Vargas would have dismantled pac. Floyd new better. He knew he was jucing out the ass. You dont go from 105 to 147 in that short of period. And the only 154 fight was margo. After shane exposed his plaster. Eric Morales should the truth at 126 was it? Size, reach and boxing abilty will always beat the little guy. Yes pac beat him the next 2 but Morales already proved his point for his brother and had no will to fight on at that time.

Proof from a third party that Cotto asked for the most dangerous opponent to end his career, yet and still you have people talking schit. We all knew the GGG fight wasn't going to happen, because GBP has a vested interest in GGG Canelo rematch. They already mad it clear that they Don't want GGG fighting in between. We could blame Cotto, because he signed with GBP for 2 reasons. 1) To secure a major partnership for his promotional company, 2) for a rematch with Canelo. But I can't blame a man for securing his future, though I would have preferred Cotto remain a free agent. All the big names that GBP tried to tie to a contract, Cotto would have been able to fight either one of them with out GBP in the picture. At the end of the day, Cotto could have secured a partnership after he retired, I'm sure GBP would have been amicable.

almost everything you said was wrong factually and grammatically

ill just point out some things:

pac fought cotto at 145 not 144

there was no rehydration clause for the cotto fight

pac fought marg at 150 not 154

pac fought marg after cotto not before

pac fought hatton at 140 not 147

pac fought morales at 130 not 126

took him 13-14 years to get to 147 but i guess thats a short period for you? yeah he was so healthy at 112. so healthy he skipped 2 entire divisions. wasn't drained at all....most fighters when they are 18 put on 20-30 pounds by the time they are 35. pac put on a little more than the average fighter but could it be cause he looked like this!

The reason for this lack lustre retirement fight for Cotto is squarely on GBs shoulder

There's literally 25-35 from 147-160 names ahead of Ali as far as a interesting opponents for Cottos farewell fight

GB dropped the ball , but whatever I'm watching and just hope it's a good fight

Definitely trolling, why would he ask for GGG as a retirement fight? I know they are promoting his last fight with Ali but please don't insult our intelligence.

The sad thing is some people would take this as us having a go at cotto. Am not having a go at him but there is no way he would ask for GGG as a retirement fight.

I tend to believe him, I'm a big fan of G but he's slowed down enough to not completely starch miguel in a fight. In fact if cotto fought a similar fight to the nelo one he might not win granted. But he wouldn't disgrace himself either i think he'd lose a close decision no knockdowns.

I think if that fight had materialised being cottos last fight and against a dangerous opponent he would go all out in his effort and give us a great fight to remember him by. I've been a big fan of cotto since the torres fight. Sad to see him go

What do you mean by a third party? You do realize he is promoted by GBP who have a vested interested in him right? Look I have supported Cotto for much of his career and he is still one of my favorite current fighters but lets not pretend like he was actually asking for GGG like GBP promotions claim because he wasnt. There simply using GGG's names to try and promote Cotto's next fight that's all.

And I have no issue with Cotto not fighting GGG because he is not a middleweight and shouldnt be forced to fight someone much bigger than himself (he looked much smaller than Canelo when he fought him).

Cotto just take this fight and shut up about Golovkin. Retire and enjoy your family. I thought he's been a shot fighter for a while. PAC beat the hell out of him. His so called fans want him to fight a hard hitting pressure fighter much bigger than him at the end of his career. Good way to get permanent brain damage.
