I think he legit thought he'd win.

    He's that delusional.

zackly, even if he is ultra competitive...just being able to tell himself he was competing against "tbe" in a different sport is enough to excuse losing. add in the huge $$$ and fans telling how well he did considering...this guy is flying.

Quite possibly. The guy's gimmick has ZERO appeal with me. But, I think he found a way to market himself and ran with it. He may well just be delusional enough to think he had a chance.

              He really believes it.

He had one gameplan and that was walk in a straight line and beat him up.

This is why the referee, should of let Floyd Mayweather dropped Conor Mcgregor for the count of 10! (As you can see? The referee saved Conor Mcgregor's ego!)...

Hes humble in defeat but I know this Mayweather lost is gonna haunt this mother****er for the rest of his life HE'LL NEVER BE THE SAME!
Floyd helped him make an alleged $100 million in one night; taxes, expenses, etc, he's basically not got things set for at least the rest of his life and his son's life, if he and his camp manage things properly.

You add that the fight happened in straight-up boxing, a sport he hadn't really committed himself to since he was a youth-level fighter in his early teen years in Ireland, though he held his own, I don't see what's there to haunt him.

Conor is well spoken and speaks correctly. He would never say it got him da win. I listen to the video and he said it got him the win, not da win. Mayweather beat him with ease but Conor is taking the loss well for a man with so much pride.
