He wasn’t working hard enough. I saw him personally 6 weeks out from his last fight at Girl Collection partying.

I have no doubt he can still make 130 but I believe he has to drain himself to do so! Its obvious their not going to 135 anytime soon. They're just buying some time until the best at 135 move on or wait until a vacant belt becomes available & get matched against a bum to win it! "We call that the Broner recipe"! For anybody expecting Davis to fight any contenders anytime soon, you're wasting your time because is not going to happen! Just watch the interview when he was asked about fighting Loma! Davis was seem to be admitting he wants no part of Loma & don't expect that fight to ever happen!

These guys kill me. They get a little cash and start acting like they are some kind of lover. Hamburger pimps. A boxing career is short, dissipation only makes it shorter and painful.

He forgot the second part of that statement - staying at 130, but doesn't have the balls to ever fight Lomachenko...

          Fk the promoter excuses...

Hate to always see dummies like him who are talented and would become even better if they only got rid of that circle of thugs he grew up with... I'm dead serious the "keeping it real" mentality instilled in these youngsters day in and day out, second in and second out... has got them fighting demons that don't even exist!!!! Rap culture is bad for you health!!!!

Meh, I highly doubt it too much negative influence around him. He will do something dumb soon enough. Plus losing belts on the scales already is not a good look for a "star" nor was how he won his last fight. Also ducking Loma does not help either. Nope I am pretty sure we will have another AB on our hands.

Young and dumb runs into money. What could go wrong? Take a chamaco straight out of his village and give him a million bucks and he'll wrap a Porche around a pole in a heartbeat. Growing pains and bank account is fuel on the fire.

Smart move. Based on his age and size/frame he should have no problem making weight. He's just lazy and immature. Besides he is tiny much shorter then his official listed height. He looks small against 130lb fighters who are all taller then him. Dude is like 5'2 or 5'3. He don't have the length to move up multiple weight classes. 135Lbs will feast on his short azz just get him focused and on a diet and stay at 130.

Look how tiny he looks standing next to Floyd and he's only 5'8. lol
